Feeding calculator

How much food does your pet need?

Estimate a starting portion in grams per day, using your pet’s details and the energy value on the food label.

Use the value on the label. For kcal/kg, divide by 10. If mixing wet and dry food, calculate their shares separately.
For healthy adult dogs and cats at a healthy weight. Puppies, kittens, pregnancy, illness, excess weight and intensive work need an individual feeding plan.
How do we calculate it?

RER = 70 × kg0.75. RER × your adult pet’s profile → kcal. (kcal − daily calories from treats (kcal)) ÷ (kcal / 100 g) × 100 → g.
